Spyridonidis Apostolos is a PhD candidate at the department of Environmental Engineering at DUTH. He received his Diploma at the department of Environmental Engineering at Technical University of Crete (2013) and his M.Sc. in the field of Environmental Engineering and Science (DUTH). The title of his Master thesis was “Dynamin response of anaerobic digesters treating residues of animal wastes after thermal treatment (rendering).” His scientific interest is focused on anaerobic biotechnologies and specifically on waste and wastewater treatment, energy and resources recovery from wastes, biochemical reactions engineering and biogas upgrade and management. In addition, he manages an industrial biogas plant “AVAX, Avato Biogas of Xanthi S.A.”.
