Athanasia Soultana received her Diploma in Mineral Resources Engineering in 2011 and her MSc degree in the field of “Geotechnology and the Environment” from the School of Mineral Resources Engineering, Technical University of Crete, in 2014. Now, she is a PhD candidate in the same School. Her scientific and research interests include environmentally friendly methods for the exploitation of mineral resources, and especially the utilization of industrial by-products for building and construction applications. Athanasia Soultana has published several papers in scientific journals and conferences. She has participated in research projects concerning recycling of construction and demolition wastes and quarry by-products and applications in in the construction sector.
