Prof. Evan Diamadopoulos is a faculty member in the School of Environmental Engineering and Rector of the Technical University of Crete. He holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a PhD degree from McMaster University. His research area focuses on water and wastewater treatment, and valorization of waste materials. He has been chief investigator for over 40 research projects, which were funded by the European Union, the Greek Ministry of Education, the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, the Local and Regional Governments and the private sector. He has published 92 papers in international journals and presented over 120 presentations in international conferences. He holds 1 patent. According to Google Scholar, he has 4.800 citations and h-index 37.
