Dr Arvaniti is Chemist and holds a Ph.D in Environmental Science since 2014. Her research expertise is in development and validation of analytical methods for the determination of different organic micropollutants in several environmental matrices, in fate of emerging contaminants applied biological and physicochemical processes commonly used for wastewater treatment and in risk assessment of emerging contaminants to the aquatic environment. Since 2008 up today Dr Arvaniti has co-supervised undergraduate students and postgraduate students during their Diploma and Master thesis. From 2015, she is involved in teaching 5 undergraduate courses. She is a co-author of 10 research articles published in International refereed Journals (H index 7, citations: 384) and of 20 publications in Conference Proceedings.
